Sharaf Plans 4 Million Ton U.A.E. Cement Plant, Times Reports

Sharaf Group plans to spend 1 billion dirhams ($272 million) building a cement factory in the United Arab Emirates to meet soaring demand from contractors, Khaleej Times reported, citing Managing Director Yousuf Sharaf.

The Fujairah plant will take two years to build and will be able to produce 2 million tons of cement a year in its first phase rising to 4 million later, Sharaf said, according to the Dubai-based newspaper.
